Deeply committed to Jesus Christ, we endeavor to become a unified community of faith, worship, and service. We strive to be a warm, welcoming and caring parish in which the gifts and talents of all, young and old, are recognized and graciously used to nourish others.
Welcome to Our Parish
Welcome to St. Mary of the Hills Parish, a Roman Catholic Church and School (Grades pre-k through 8) nestled close to the Blue Hills in Milton, Massachusetts. We hope that our website provides you with the information you need to nurture and support your faith here in the parish and beyond.
If you are new to the parish, we extend a special welcome to you and pray that you will find a warm home here. Please introduce yourself to one of the priests after Mass or stop by the Rectory. If you would like to register, you will find the form you need here.
We invite all our parishioners to join fully in our life at St. Mary’s. We serve the community through worship, outreach, education, social activities, sacramental preparation, and comfort to the sick and those who mourn. Feel free to contact us if we may be of service to you in any way.
Rev. Arthur F. Wright, pastor
Lent is a special season of grace to perhaps hear more clearly the Lord’s call to all of us to turn our hearts and minds back to Him and allow Him to be the focus of our lives. Once again our parish will have special gatherings and celebrations to help us on our Lenten journey.
The Lenten Supper & Speaker Series returns on Friday evenings, March 7 through April 4. We begin at 6:00 PM with Evening Prayer, followed by a light meal and a speaker at 7:00 PM.
The Light Is On For You in the lower church on Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8:00 PM—Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, opportunity for individual confession and concluding with Benediction
On Palm Sunday evening, April 13 at 7:30 PM, the CREDO Liturgical Dance Company will perform a Tenebrae Service. Were You There? Is a danced interpretation of the passion and death of Jesus Christ interspersed with intervals of prayer. All are welcome.
This past week, our parish launched the 2014 Catholic Appeal, Forward in Hope. The Appeal supports 50 ministries that benefit our parish and thousands of our brothers and sisters in Christ. Your support of this important effort helps make our parish a thriving, welcoming community of faith.
